A little hint of information about putting together a packing list below.

Our search

We spent days, weeks, months... putting together our packing list for the trip. It is a very fun and challenging quest where you learn new things all the time. On the other hand, it can also be exhausting, but remind yourself that hot water is not reinvented in a new model of bike, tent or sleeping bag. In other words, don't put yourself under too much stress.

This process has taught us so much and we feel confident in selecting the right materials for you. If you have any doubts, need assistance with choosing your tent/bike/cooking set/etc. you can count on us. We are positive you can save a lot of money by making the right choices, let alone the time you will save and can now spend on getting to know your gear instead. Check our support page to find out how we can help.

Tips packing list

Take a look at stuff you already own to select things you could use. Because we had already made some trips in the past, we were able to choose quite a few things that could serve for the cycling trip.

It is also smart to ask around with friends and family to see what they have in stock. We were able to reuse old bike helmets, some bike panniers and cycling cloths. Little things make a difference and it's good for your wallet!

Cycling through 4 seasons

If, like us, you plan to cycle through several seasons, you need quite a bit of diversity in equipment. This means that you have to pay attention to the weight of new purchases, but where do you draw the line? Admittedly, this is not always easy and greatly depends from person to person. Putting together a packing list for a longer trip is much more difficult than, say, a packing list for a 3-month walking holiday.
